We are nothing more than the sum of our experiences and beliefs. I remember vividly my first lecture with Nikhil sir back in 2012. A small town drop-out boy, whose entire school strength was less 100 students, with a rank in JEE greater than his roll number and with a dream of getting into IIT. Sir’s first remark for me was a really talented student and a definite ranker. I’ve completed my under graduation from IIT Kharagpur in Chemical engineering and currently pursuing Masters in Finance from Imperial College London. Looking back, I feel I was really blessed to have him in my life at such early stage. He believed in me when even I didn’t believe in myself. He saw something in me which no one else did. His guidance and care was all that got me through. It was his beliefs and his lifetime experiences which helped me in achieving my first success story. My name is Anik Dasgupta and I’ve known Nikhil Sir since I was in 9th standard back in 2010. Chemistry was the only class I attended in FIITJEE – and that was because of Nikhil Sir. Since then I’ve blindly followed his guidance throughout the years of Nikhil’s School of Science. I owe a major part of my success to Sir’s tutelage and guardianship. Not only a great teacher, he was a mentor for me in my formative years and helped me crack all the top competitive entrance exams including IITJEE, WBJEE and BITSAT. I completed my bachelors in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur University and have been working as a software engineer starting with Amazon, followed by Indeed.com and presently at Instagram (Meta), based in London. It’s been more than 13 years, as of 2023, and I’m still in touch with Sir and keep reaching out for advice. Hi, I am Nitish Ravishankar. I am currently pursuing a masters in Computer Science at EPFL in Switzerland. I worked as a Software Developer at Microsoft Research and Atlassian before this. I used to study with Nikhil sir and his institution between 2013-2015 to prepare for the 2015 year of entrance exams. In my initial days of preparation, Chemistry was my weak subject, but after attending Nikhil sir's classes, I got quite comfortable in it that I scored the highest in Chemistry among all subjects in JEE Mains. I admire Nikhil sir's ability to teach a tough subject like Chemistry, such that it becomes easy for a student and furthermore master the subject such that I was able to solve the organic chemistry transformations in my mind, without using a pen and paper. To add, Nikhil sir is a great mentor, we had discussions about how to improve my exam performance, exam strategy and any general problems I faced during my preparation days. As a result, I was able to score 341 in BITSAT and get selected for my branch of choice in BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. Hello ! I am Dr. Shantashila Guha. I am currently pursuing my MS final year in General Surgery at AIIMS Jodhpur. I have done my MBBS from NRS medical college Kolkata. I have been sir’s student cum daughter for past 14 years. My journey with Nikhil sir started in class 9. He has not just taught me chemistry but life lessons. Whatever I am now and whatever I am going to become in life is because of Nikhil sir only. When I met sir I was a below average student but sir inspired me to enter into medical field and become a surgeon now. In future every life I save, I give 100% credit for that to Nikhil sir. Nikhil sir has taught me how to lead life. In every difficulty he has had my back and helped me come out of every situation stronger, teaching me wonderful life lessons. Throughout my medical school he supported me. He even guided me during my PG entrance exam preparation. It had become really frustrating preparation phase due to multiple lockdowns and repeated postponement during Covid. I was at home for 1.5 years and exams were not taking place, it was very discouraging for me. But that time the only one who supported me was Nikhil sir. Although he is not a doctor or a professor at a medical school but he was the one who made me a routine to study for my PG Medical exam .
